Event Details.

Expect a bold and varied set designed to challenge every ability level — from beginner-friendly climbs to problems that’ll push even our strongest climbers.

  • Four rounds, each lasting around 4 weeks

  • Your best 3 scores from the series count towards your overall ranking

  • Entry just £3.50 per round

  • Series Final and fun comp on 14th March 2026

  • All profits go to HARRY’S RAINBOW, one of the leading providers of support services for bereaved children and families in the Milton Keynes area.

How does it work?

Rounds 1-4 will be held alternately at Hub and Bond, with each round featuring 30 problems graded V0 to V10. You have until the end of each round to complete as many of the problems as possible. Each problem included in the series is given a number, displayed next to the starting holds, plus tags indicating the bonus (Zone) hold and the finish (Top) hold.

Collect your scorecard from reception and mark your score: Award yourself three points for a Flash (topped on the first attempt), two points for a Top (as many attempts as you need), and one point if you didn’t top but you reached the Zone hold.

Remember, for a Flash, Top or Zone to count, you must touch the final (or Zone) hold with both hands in a controlled manner (grazing or tapping the hold without controlling it doesn’t count). You have until the end of each round to complete as many of the problems as possible.

The Winter Boulder Series is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to climbers of all ages and abilities. With four rounds in total, your best three scores count toward your final ranking.

Prizes & Perks.

  • £20 cash prizes randomly awarded to two scorecards in each round
  • Category prizes for top performers by age group
  • Grand prizes for Cup and Shield champions
